Diversity in Design - Tech

From the catwalk to the beauty counter, we’ve seen Skims to swatches in every color. But beyond the surface of these many shades, diversity in design is going much deeper. Our increased desire for diversity-driven designs are steadily impacting a spectrum of industries.

Companies are coming to terms with the notion that equality and inclusion are no longer an option, but a key factor for survival and success in today’s multicultural world. Minorities expect and demand an increased level of representation. With more underrepresented populations involved in decision-making and design processes, products are gradually growing more and more accessible to all. Whether inclusive of race, gender, size, age, ability or area, traditional products as we know them will be forever changed and improved for the betterment of our society as a whole.
